What class should I take?
Classes run in six week blocks or on a drop in basis subject to availability. Pregnancy/Mother & Baby can be joined at any time
GENTLE CLASSES
are suitable for complete beginners.For anyone who wants a gentle stretch, with a little light yoga work. Improves joint mobility and eases aches and pains. Includes guided relaxation.
BEGINNERS CLASSES
teach the fundamentals of Yoga, either for complete beginners or or those who have not done Yoga for a while. Posture, breathing and back care, basic yoga postures/sequences and guided relaxation.
INTERMEDIATE YOGA
builds on your Yoga knowledge and confidence. Improves your strength and muscle tone, teaches more breathwork (Pranayama), sequences and yoga flows. A minimum of 6 weeks beginners class is needed before moving to Intermediate Level. Unless you practise Yoga already.
POWER YOGA
is a strong class and is for those who are already fit, have completed the Intermediate level and are very familiar with yoga. Improves strength, stamina, flexibility and lung capacity. Provides a deeper understanding of Yoga and its relationship to your body. Includes Strong sequences, Pranayama, Bandas, and Relaxation.
BUMS, THIGHS & TUMS
Core strenghtening, and a workout for bums, thighs and tummys. Yoga and exercise bands are incorporated to work on these key areas. Loosen up, workout and relax.
RELAXATION/MEDITATION
An hour of complete relaxation! Soft lights, candels and music. Gentle movement to ease back and shoulder tightness, aid digestion, and rest the body. Class begins with 5 to 10 minutes of Guided easy meditation and concludes with at least 20 minutes of complete relaxation.
YOGA FOR PREGNANCY
Suitable for those over 16 weeks pregnant. A very gentle class with supported stretches to ease out tension. Breathwork in preparation for delivery, rest, relaxation and the support of other Mums in class.
MOTHER AND BABY
Classes for Mums and new babies over 6 weeks old and until baby crawls. A relaxing class for both of you, in warm surroundings, giving Mum a chance to get back into shape with baby enjoying the benefits of baby massage.
